What it is:

LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) E10/F11 H2 is an engineered structural timber product manufactured by bonding multiple layers of veneer under heat and pressure. The E10/F11 grading denotes its high stiffness and bending strength, while the H2 hazard level rating makes it suitable for use in above-ground interior applications where protection against termites is required.

How to use it:

LVL is used in place of traditional sawn timber where consistent strength, straightness and dimensional stability are required. Cut to the required length using a drop saw and fix in position according to your structural plans and engineer’s specifications. Because it’s an engineered product, it resists warping, bowing and twisting — making it significantly more reliable than standard sawn timber on long spans.
